REVIEW: Elephants by The Snuts

Scotland’s finest are back releasing music again as The Snuts drop their latest single, Elephants. This tune has all the potential to become sound of the summer.

The contagious back-beat and unbelievable melody provides the credentials for lead-singer, Jack Cochrane to do his thing and equip his hard-hitting lyrics. The Snuts are no strangers to escaping their comfort zone and trying something different. Elephants again shows the incredible, unpredictable sound the band can produce. The Snuts have maybe just made these tough times a bit more bearable for the time being.

Dropping the single during lockdown, Elephants will make you forget about all the madness going on and make sure your dancing. Having already placed #14 in the official UK charts with their latest EP, Mixtape, the West-Lothian quartet will be looking to be in the top 10 this time with Elephants. With the world and the music scene being brought to a halt, The Snuts have kept busy and will definitely be reaping the rewards with this new single.

You May find Elephants familiar as it has crept into being a real crowd pleaser on The Snuts set-list. Nothing beats that unrivalled sound of live music, but this recorded version comes pretty close.

The group are clearly living the dream and 2020 was going to be a huge year for not only the band, but the Scottish music scene. Having already been booked into arguably the biggest festival in UK if not the world, Glastonbury, it was seeming to be all happening for The Snuts.

To see the band rise up the charts, you can purchase the single through ITunes. Keep up to date with all The Snuts latest movements by the links made available below.
