Young musician, Connor Fyfe has set the tone for his early career with his first single release, ‘Don’t’. Music has always been involved in his life and being only 13 years old has certainly worked in his favour.
The tune starts of slow but is met with Connors smooth and delicate voice that carries the song into the explosive chorus. The song has great guitar play and really makes the track what it is. ‘Don’t’ takes on a rustic sound and one that Connors voice works very well with. If you like the acoustic artists in today’s music game, then get listening to Connor Fyfe.
Since starting from an early age, he has been playing loads of gigs in pubs, restaurants and even being a busker in Glasgow’s city centre. However, the last year has took off for the young man seeing him even play the iconic Barrowlands.
The biggest moment for him was supporting The Snuts in their biggest gig to date. The Snuts had hundreds of entries to support them on their UK tour but only selected a handful of acts, Connor being one of them. Supporting the West-Lothian group at Motherwell’s concert hall was special and he more than warmed up the stage for the main event.
Connor Fyfe has also just been announced in the Eh6 line-up which takes place at the end of November. This will give you a chance to hear the new single live. The festival includes names such as Kyle Falconer, Vida, Baby Strange, Mark Sharp & The Bicycle Thieves and many more big names around the music scene.
A stunning first single for being such a young age. Another promising act which again adds to Scotland’s ever-growing Music Scene.
