REVIEW: Where we’re going by Gerry Cinnamon

Castlemilk’s Gerry Cinnamon has released a new single from his upcoming second album, The Bonny. Although the song has a different vibe to Gerry’s usual tunes, his honest lyrics and great Glaswegian voice are still there.

Where We’re Going is another great toe-tapping song that you won’t be able to resist dancing to. It’s a song the Gerry Cinnamon faithful can easily get behind; it has a great melody and gives off happy feelings.

“Can I get back to my loneliness, but don’t know what to do with the happiness you’re giving me, lately.”

Cinnamon has now released the first five tracks from The Bonny: Canter, Sun Queen, The Bonny, Dark Days and Where We‘re Going. If the rest of the album is as good as these tracks are then we’re in for something really special. Gerry Cinnamon is a genius at work.

Cinnamon will most likely perform the new tunes in his upcoming tour, which will feature performances in several iconic venues, including Cardiff Castle, Alexandra Palace, Manchester Arena and Glasgow’s Hampden Park.

Hampden Park will be Cinnamon’s biggest gig to date; he’s the first solo Scottish act to headline at the 50,000+ capacity stadium. Tickets sold out in less than a day. However, they’re still available for other gigs on the tour.

If you’re keen to support this incredible local act, and don’t mind traveling to do so, you can purchase tickets from the Gerry Cinnamon website, which is linked below. The Bonny - which will be released on April 10th - can be pre-ordered from the website. http://www.gerrycinnamonmusic.com

Another day, another Belter from Gerry Cinnamon. Genius at work.
