REVIEW: The Glow by DMA’s

Updated: Apr 23, 2020

DMA’s are back once again with a new single, The Glow which will feature on their third album. It was both disappointment for both band and fans after the the group had to put back the date for their album to come out, however completely understandable.

The Glow is the ideal insolation tune which has a tremendous back beat that provides a great dance feeling for the rest of the song. It has been interesting to see DMA’s not so much change their sound, but definitely try new things. It is a quick, vibrant and classy tune which fits in well with the collection of already released songs from the album. The tune is definitely showing that the band are fulfilling their high exceptions and are gradually moving forward to big things.

The Glow is added to the growing track list of the album. With Silver and Life is a game of changing already being out, The Glow has been released at the perfect time to get you through isolation. The album should have been released on April 24th, however it will now hit the shelves on July 10th. A long time, but one that will 100 percent be worth the wait.

What is refreshing to hear is the band aren’t just sitting on that one sound. From Hills End to For Now, you can see the slight change of sound and the intent to not make their record sound the same as their others. However, The Glow is where you really hear the bands change. Still having that Brit-pop sound on the record but not as much. It’s great to see the band being so versatile.

The Glow is yet again, another big tune from DMA’s and one that I’m sure will go down well with their growing support. You can listen to the song via the link below.
