The Snuts dramatic rise all over the UK has been phenomenal. From recording their first single Glasgow for £100 in someone’s flat, to selling-out every headline show on their last tour including The Motherwell Concert Hall which holds over 1500 people.
The Snuts unique style is something to be admired as they have taken a step outside their comfort zone with their new EP, Mixtape. The tunes have went down well and are packed with catchy lyrics and infectious backbeats. The West-Lothian quartet have had a year to remember with their EP, Mixtape ranking #14 in the charts just falling behind names such as Eminem, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Stormzy and many more massive names. What an achievement from the infamous Snuts.
The groups progress in the last year has been outstanding. A sold-out tour which included 15 venues ranging from Scotland to England and also Belfast. The bigger the venues, the better the band seem to be. The confidence oozes through these boys as soon as they step on stage. Festivals have been instrumental in the groups success as they seem to jump up a stage every year. Rocking the King Tuts stage at TRNSMT Festival back in 2018, to then returning the following year as the young team played to a packed out crowd on the main stage. History in the making.
2020 would have been following in the footsteps of The Snuts unbelievable year. Having lined up four or five festivals, another six gig tour which included iconic venues such as O2 Kentish Town and the largest venue of the tour, Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange. However, one of the biggest announcements of The Snuts ever-growing career was being announced as Gerry Cinnamons support along with DMA’s at Hampden which should have been going ahead in this summer.
The Snuts seem to be growing and growing in potential, confidence and of course ability. They seem to just get better and better with every song they release and the support is getting bigger and bigger for the band. Keep updated with all the bands movements via the links below.
